Monthly Recollections

At the Saint Francis de Sales Family Spiritual Centre Kiserian, we run monthly recollections on every First and Last Saturdays of the month. The recollections of the First Saturdays are specifically tailored for the young people.

Programme of the Recollection

9.00 am Holy Rosary, Praise and Worship
9.30 am Talk on a specific theme (Word of God)
10.45 am Guided Examination of Conscience
11.00 am Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Private Confessions (Priests are available)
12.00 noon Holy Eucharist
1.00 pm Conclusion of the Recollection
For Groups prior booking is required. Individuals are free to come and join the Recollection. (Facilities and services are free)

Counselling support

The Philothea Centre offers the following Counselling support:
For young people
For families and religious (Sr. Florence Kabballah, Mrs Anne Ogeto)
For Spiritual Direction (Fr. George Kocholickal)
Prior booking with the Secretary is necessary. A token fee (contribution) for the Philothea Mission is requested.

Marriage Preparation

The mission supports members who are preparing for the sacrament of holy Matrimony through marital counselling. These services are offered on request and with prior arrangement. A token fee (contribution) for the Philothea Mission is requested

Word of Life Bible Study Programme

The centre is committed to the formation of adults in faith through the one-year bible programme. The programme runs on all Sundays except the first Sunday of the month.

Journey in Christ Catechetical Programme

Held interchangeably with the Bible Study programme, the Journey in Christ Catechetical Programme seeks to foster and deepen the faith of the Catholic faithful.
